Welcome to Band of Bolters

Band of Bolters is for posting my WiPs and completed Minis, as well as the misadventures leading up to their "completion", for my "Deathwatch" themed mega-army. It is part of the "Sprue You" network of blogs.

This army is planned to consist of two detachments, one from Codex Blood Angels, the other from Codex Space Wolves.

Unit break down plans are as follows:

Strike Force Alpha (Codex Blood Angels):

HQ:

(possibly two squads of Honour Guards)

Elite:
10 man Sternguard squad with 10 Combi-Flamers + Drop Pod
9 man Sternguard squad with 9 Combi-Meltas + Drop Pod
10 man Sternguard squad with 10 Combi-Plasmas + Drop Pod

Troops:
"Death Company" (Black Shields) + Land Raider transport (Crusader or Redeemer)
"Death Company" Dreadnought(s) + Drop Pod(s)
(possibly some assault squads)

Fast Attack:
Vanguard squad
"Baal" Predator
"Baal" Predator

Heavy Support:
Stormraven Gunship
Vindicator
Whirlwind

Strike Force Omega (Codex Space Wolves):

HQ:
"Logan Grimnar" & "Njal" with Terminator Armour
"Bjorn" & "Ulrik"

Elite:
10 "Wolf Scouts Pack" each with Bolter/Sniper Rifle + 1 Mark of the Wulfen
"Iron Priest" with "Thunderwolf Mount" & 4 "Cyberwolves"
"Lone Wolf"

Troops:
10 Man "Wolf Guard" 9 Terminators plus "Arjac", 1 Heavy Flamer, 1 Cyclone Missile Launcher, Mark of the Wulfen and rest mix of weapons to make each unique + Land Raider Crusader transport
6 Man "Wolf Guard" 5 Terminators + 1 Assault Cannon + Drop Pod transport + Mark of the Wulfen on PAWG

Fast Attack:

6 Man "Long Fangs Pack" with 5 Multimeltas + Drop Pod transport
